Our assembly operation includes
24 Class 1 ESD qualified work stations. Our technicians are
trained to work to IPC-J-STD-001C standards for soldering, wiring,
and ESD procedures. In addition, they have all passed courses in
blueprint reading, precision measuring, proper use of hand tools
and materials. Other courses taught include Lithium Battery safety
and handling procedures. Please note the black ground strap
on this technician's left wrist. The tool she is working on is covered
to protect intellectual property.
This 20,000 square foot facility
is dedicated to the production of down-hole navigation instruments
and down-hole geological survey instruments. These 8 ESD benches
are served by a jib crane because the instruments are long and heavy.
Work in progress is not shown in these photos in order to keep secure
the intellectual property of our customer.
Our subassembly area produces the mechanical
assemblies that
are sent to the ESD section for electronic assembly.
A comprehensive stock of as-required
and in-process parts is kept ready to hand to facilitate the rapid
and efficient assembly of instruments and component assemblies.
