Our engineering and design
office uses the latest version of SolidWorks
3Dmodeling software. Complete machines can be modeled to
the smallest part and assembled to check for fits and clearances
before production begins. Assemblies can be animated to be sure
of correct operation before making any real parts.
Once a design is finalized the solid
model files are sent to the programming department. Here we use Master
Cam programming software to program the tool paths for the
various machines that will make the parts. Virtual machining and inspections
are carried out before any chips are made to insure good parts on
the first try.
Two of our machine programmers discuss
machining strategies and choose tooling for maximum productivity.
Notice the many certificates on the walls that indicate the large
amounts of training the people undertake on a regular and ongoing
basis. We strive to get the most from our equipment and software,
but most important are the high skill level and performance of our
people.
