| Our CMM is a
Mititoyo Bright Apex. It features 6 decimal place accuracy and high
throughput. It is a true five axis CNC machine capable of measuring
5 sides of a work piece in a single setup. It utilizes Renishaw
Probe technology and can automatically select various styli for
measuring various work piece features. It's ease of setup and autonomous
operation and reporting capabilities make it possible for it's operator
to do other work while it inspects a part.
Along with these devices our inspection department is
equipped with a Starrett granite surface plate measuring 8 feet
by 4 feet. As with all of our measuring tools, this surface plate
is recalibrated and certified yearly.
Our Quality Assurance department is operated
in accordance with ISO-9000 standards and procedures. We work within
the guidelines of a QA manual and keep records of all aspects of
the Quality Assurance process.
Top Right -Our
Mititoyo Bright Apex CMM
has a measuring envelope of 35” x 63” x 23”. It
is cnc controlled and can measure 5 sides of a part in a single
set up to 6 place accuracy.
Center -This
Mititoyo Profile Projector is displaying a close tolerance thread
form. The PH 3500 projector can work to four decimal places with
precision.
Bottom Right -This
Mititoyo Surf Test SU 600 profilometer assures us that our surface
finishes meet or exceed our customers requirements. It can measure
inside and outside diameters as well as flat surfaces and grooves.
Material is inspected and identified as it is received. Material
certs, heat numbers, and outside vendor certs are recorded and archived
in order to maintain traceability of materials used in sensitive
products. Non-conforming parts or materials are segregated from
conforming materials to prevent their use in products. The customer
is kept in the communication loop at all times to allow them to
plan around contingencies in the flow of work.
